Shoseian Sakura Matsuri in Glendale

This year, they will have sixteen visiting Tea Masters and students from Japan who will join us to lead three public tea ceremonies. They will also have dancers visiting us from Japan to demonstrate a typical festival dance called Awa Odori.

They will have three food trucks just outside the Garden, and some great food selections inside the Garden as they well. They will also have three live music performances, including the Japanese harp (Koto), the Japanese guitar (Shamisen), and the always-awesome Taiko Drummers.

They will also celebrate the completion of our interior Tea House renovation project. This is an amazing thing, and they have been working on this project for over fifteen years.
